The National Norwegian Aviation Museum has brought the civilian and military aviation history together under one roof, and in the civilian section Avinor has its own exhibit.
Avinor is responsible for the safety of passengers and aircrafts. You can learn about how they take care of this responsibility in the exhibit. Avinor invites you to take a short “flight”. Along the way you learn how aircrafts can transport us safely from one place to another. You get a look behind the scenes: What is done before the planes take off? How do pilots find their way? Which tools does the pilot have at his disposal?
Don’t miss the
old control tower from Bodø Airport! It now sits atop the
museum. From here there is a spectacular view of both the Bodø
region and the actual airport. |
