Today we put on
display our newly restored Argus As 10 engine. The
restoration of this engine is a cooperation between
Norwegian Aviation Museum, Sola Air Museum and Mr.
Tor Nørstegård and his team at Fetsund. The latter
have performed the restoration of the engine.
This engine were used
on several types of aircraft of German manufacture.
Two of the most widely known types of aircraft were
Fiesler Storch and Focke Wulf Weihe.
The engine is
beautifully restored and will be a fine addition to
our display in the Air Force Museum part of our
collections.
